♦ (PER PBEBB ASSOCIATION). Wellington, January 18 A telegram from Blenheim to the Evening Press states that a prospector of old workings in Dead Horse Creek, Wakamarina, opened up a reef which is stated to be better than anything that has been opened up in the Colony for the past 12 or 15 years. A 30« acre lease has been applied for, and pegged out, and a battery tailing site and water rights have been secured.
