INVESTMENTS SUSPENDED. (PKK PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London. January 18. The New Zealand and River Plate Land and Mortgage Company, Limited, shows a net profit of .£12,000 for the year. Of this amount .£2OOO is placed to the reserve fund and ±10,000 carried forward. Two of the directors, Sir William T. Power and Mr Thomas Russell, C.M.G., retire. The new directors are Messrs Nathan, McCosh Clarke, and H J. Gibbs. Later. Pending the revaluation of the assets of the New Zealand and River Plate Company, and the discussion of a reconstruction scheme, investments are suspended. All monies received will be used to pay debentures.
