Gigantic Fraud in Italy.
RUN ON AN ITALIAN BANK. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). Rome, January 17 Antonio Monzillo, formerly Minister of Agriculture, has been extradited from London in connection with Banco Romana frauds, amounting to two and a, half million pounds. Counsel for the accused says it is intended to make him a scapegoat for political frauds, The Banka Generate has applied for moratorium owing to a run upon it. The bank is stated to have a large surplus.
