At tho second wool sales, the catalogue comprised 3884 bales. Competition was keen, and prices a shade better than at the first, sale. The ruling prices were : — Halfbred, 7d to !Md ; three-quarter bred 64 d to 8M ; crossbreds, 6d to B^d ; merino, 4kl to 6}d ; pieces, 31 to 6jd ; locks, ljd'to 3id.
