| Per Press Association.] Loxdojj, Jauuary 16. At tho opening of the wool sales, 10,000 bales will be offered. The prospects of the market are hopeful. Timabc, November 16. At tho second wool sales, the catalogue comprised 3884 bales. Competition was keen, and prices a shade better than at the first, sale. The ruling prices were : — Halfbred, 7d to !Md ; three-quarter bred 64 d to 8M ; crossbreds, 6d to B^d ; merino, 4kl to 6}d ; pieces, 31 to 6jd ; locks, ljd'to 3id.
