A meeting of the Committee of the Manawatu Bangitikei Cricket Uniou was held on Saturday at Feilding, Mr R. rf. Baillie in the chair. Correspondence was read from the Secretary of the Pahiatua Union with reference to playing a representative match at Feilding on February 9th. It was decided to accept the challenge, and the secretary was instructed to write to (hat effect. The Secretai j brought up the question of the fixtures. In most of the papers they had been published for the Friday instead of the Saturday. It was resolved, That all remaining fixtures be altered one day forward, and that a fresh corrected list be sent to the papers for publication and to the various clubs. On the motion of Mr Bishop, seconded by Mr Entwisle, It was decided that a grant of £2 2s be handed over to the Feilding Club as a donation towards keeping the county ground in order. It was resolved, That the next regular meeting of the Committee be held on Wednesday, January 24, and after that date the regular meeting day shall be the last Wednesday in each month. Notices of motion were given as under: That steps be token for tlie purpose of arranging a tour for a representative team at Easter. That the resolution re purchasing a cup be rescinded, and a committee be appointed to deal with the j matter and make fresh suggestions to the Uaion. The question of making arrangements in connection with the Pahiatua match and picking a representative team was bronght up, but it was decided to let the matter stand over till the meeting to be held on Jannary 54th. The Committee then adjourned.
