Birmingham Druids' Sports.

A meeting of the Birmingham Druids' Sports Committee was held last evening for the purpose of opening tenders for the privileges, and receiving nominations. Mr Joe Shapleskie's tender of £5 for the publican's booth and £1 for the refreshment booth, was accepted. There were 105 nominations received for the various races, being 26 ahead of last year. As the nominations for Hop. Step, and Jamp and High Jump were so few, it was re. solved that post entries be accepted for them. All that is now wanted to ensure success is a fine day on Thursday next, when the sports take place.
