THIS DAY. (Before Mr Brabant, R.M.) Edward Giesen was charged by the sheep inspector, Mr Blundell, with a breach of the Sheep Act and was convicted and fined -10s and costs 7s. M. Keen v. 11. Sonierville ; claim £1. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. ' Judgment for plaintiff with costs 6s G. J. Scott v. Maraku ; claim £8 Is. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff for £7 6s and costs 15s, solicitor's tee 21s. Robert Parr v. Win. Baker ; claim £1. Mr Reade for plaintiff and Sandilands for defendant. Robt. Parr gave evidence of the sale of a greyhound slut to defendant. Judgment for plaintiff with costs 9s. Mr Sandilands applied to stay judgment till next Court day to allow an application for a re-hearing to be made, which the R.M. agreed to. G. L- Lay v. Win. Desjardine ; claim £12 6s 6d. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs 54s and solicitor's fee 21s. Wm. Franklin-Browne v. Dennis Barrett ; claim 21s. Mr Reade for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs 6s. Jos. Darragh v. Mrs J. W. Collis ; claim £8 10s 2d. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff and Mr Richmond for Defendant. Case struck out, as .summons was wrongly issued against the wife in place of the husband. J. E. Elliott v. Jas. Huddlestoue ; claim Ml 9s. Mr Keade for plaintiff, and Mr Sandilands for defendant, J. E. Elliott, David Black, and Wm. Ayers gave evidence for the plaintiff; and Jas. Huddlestone and Wm. Huddlestone gave evidence for the defence. Judgment for plaintiff for 11s, beyond 8s paid into court, and costs 14s. J. L. Schmidt v. John Hooper ; claim £5 14s. Mr Prior for plaintiff. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, with costs 16k and solicitor's fee 21b. J. L. Schmidt v. F. Chell ; claim £2 6s. Mr Prior for plaintiff. Judgment j for plaintiff for amount claimed, with costs 12. John Toole v. Clifton Cliarlton ; claim .£'B3 4s. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff, and Mr Richmond for defendant. This was a claim for wages alleged to be due, and to have been contracted while defendant was in England. The defence contended that from a certain time plaintiff was to get no wages, but was to be kept by defendant. John Toole gave evidence at length in support of his claim, and Miss E. Teague and Clifton Cliarlton gave evidence for the defence. Judgment for defendant. ___^__^^
