Volunteer Items.
The prize competition firing of the Manchester Rifles was re-commenced yetsterduy, when 13 members took part. 1 Vol Scott secure i his second " leg in " in Class A with 80, and Lieut Bur- ■ lace his first in Class B with 63. Vols , E. Bennett and Card tied in Class C ; with 55 each, but the latter counts a win by having only two misses to Vol Bennett's three at the 300 yds range. The following are tho scores : — Class A.
The nominations for the Ladies Bracelet closed last evening, when 20 nominations were received, which will be published in to-morrow's issue. A meeting of the Shooting Committee will be held after the next parade to arrange handicaps, etc, in connection with the Ladies' Bracelet.
