Wreck of the Jessie Redman.

(PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, January 8 The Napier insurances on the cargo of the Jessie Redman as far as ascertainable are as follows : — British and Foreign Marine £8000 ; Victoria £7066 ; United, £2832 ; National, £915; Straits, £926. The bulk of Williams and Kettle's shipment was insured in London. Captain Babot, Marine Superintendent of Shaw Savill and Albion Company for New Zealand, left for Lyttelton by the Waitara this afternoon. He proceeds to the Chatham Islands by the s.s. Kahu in connection with the mishap to the Jessie Redman.
