With nine mouths of the financial year gone, the Customs revenue of the Colony is .£21,709 over the Colonial Treasurer's estimate for that period, the total amount collected to the end of last month being £1,236,709. The Customs revenue for last month amounted to X' 135,883, as compared with £128,117 for the previous mouth, and .£148,336 for the corresponding month in the previous year. Auckland contributed £33,.'307, Wellington .£24,769, Christchurch £20,622, and Dunedin £'30,49.'5. The total amount of beer duty collected in the Colony last mouth was £6,H12. For the nine months of tho financial year Die beer duty exceeds tho estimate by £282.
