[Per Press Association.] Rome, January 1 Rioting has been renewed in Trapani, Sicily. The tax offjeers were burned, and the prisoners released from gaol. Palermo has been placed under martial law. Beblin, January 1. Later news states that the insurgent Cameroous occupied all the factories for nine days, and until the gunboats wore reinforced the officials were in an engagement between the Germans and insurgents. Many of the latter were killed and the remainder fled to the bush. The cruiser Princess Wilhemina has been ordered to the Cameroons to protect the German interest.
