English Consols, 98, Three months' bills are discounted at 2.V per cent. New Zealand 4 per cent stock, 106; 3^ per cent, 96. Wheat — Longberried, 295, flat. New Zealand mutton — First quality, U<\ ; second quality, 3£d ; Lamb— First quality, 4^d. The hemp market is unchanged. Adelaide wheat, 29s 9d, restricted; Victorian, 29s 3d, restricted. Sugar— German, 12s 6tl ; Java, 15s 6d quite. Danish butter, 119s; Victorian, 100s to 106s. The English and American wheat market is lifeless, and the Continental is inactive.
