(PR* PBKBB ABSOCIATIONI. Wellington, December 29. Tho second sale of the wool season was held to-day. There was good attendance of both Home and local buyers, and com* petition was keen for all lots. The bulk of thfrcatalugue, consisting of 651 balos, was quilted at prices slightly in advance of those ruling at the proceeding sale.
Messrs Laery and Co. held their second wool sale of the season on Friday, when they offered a cataloguo comprising about 15,0 bales. They report a fair attendance of English and local buyers, and good competition at prjoea on a par with those ruling at previous safe,
