Sales of Horse Stock.

(?EB PBES9 ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, December 29. Messrs Hunter and Nolan held a sale of blood stock at Sylvia Park on behalf of Mr L. D. Nathan, Mrs Walters, and others. There was a good attendance, but prices ruled low, and several lots were passed in. The stallion Fabulous, by Leolinus— Atlantis, was sold for 140gs to Mr McLaughlin. A chestnut filly by St Leger— Brassolis, and another by StlLeger— Lovebird, were bought by Mr Kingston, Wanganui, for 30gs and 50gs respectively. Mr W. Rathbone, Napier, bought the mare Inisthona, by Leoliuus- Moilena, for 40gs. The young trotting horses sent from New South Wales by the well-known breeder, Mr S. Hodren, were offered for sale |||gotter'gjpaddock to-day. The sale was 4£p unqualified success, every lot being quitted. The horses were by sires imported from the States, Judge Beldon and Duke, the mare being also of high pedigree.
