» ; r The Manawatu Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association (Limited) report for . the week ending December 15th, 1893 : —Since our last, report there is very i little alteration in the price of pro- [ duce. New potatoes are coming to hand very freely, at lower rates. Onions, new crop, we have had delivery of several small parcels in very good condition. In the past week we have had exceptionally good business in almost every department, especially in hams, bacon, fruits, wines, spirits, •fee. Our quotations are : — WheatMilling, 3s 4d to 3s 6d ; whole fowl, 2s 3d to 3s sd ; broken, 3s to 2a 3d. Barley — Small feed, 2s 3d ; crushed, 3s 6d. Beans— Hand threshed, 4s to 4s 3d. Peas— Blue Prussian, 3s 9d to 4s ; partridge, 3s 6d to 3s 9d. Oats — Sparrowbills, 2s 8d to 2s lOd ; long Tartars, feed, 2s 7d to 2s 9d. Oatsheaf chaff, 65s to 70s. PotatoesNew flukes, 9s per cwt. ; other sorts, 8s per cwt. Onions — New, 2d to 2id per lb. Cheese — Dairy, 4d to 4Jd ; factory, 4£d to 3d. Butter— Dairy, 6d to 6id; separator and factory, 6§d to 7d. " Bacon— Dairy, 9d to 9idj factory, 9Jd to lOd. Hams— Dairy, 9sd to lOd; factory lOd to Is, Fungus — 2d to 2£d per lb. Hides— 2d to 3d per lb for heavy weight, sound. Tallow — 14s to 15s per cwt.
