They found Loben&ula's waggon stuck in the mire, and when they challenged the King to surrender tho Mntabelc endeavoured to surround, the detachment, which retreated, fighting tut they went. Messengara were despatched to the main body of Major Forbcti' troop for assistance. Some Matnbclo also attacked Major Forbes' men but were repulsed. Dr Jameson and Captnin WillTufchby aro moving up to reinforce VI ojor Forbes.
