It is feared here that Captain Wilson's detachment, which fell into the ambushcade ot Lobengula'a followers, has been destroyed. December 15. Cuptuin Wilson'sdetnchrnent consisted of forly men. They found Loben&ula's waggon stuck in the mire, and when they challenged the King to surrender tho Mntabelc endeavoured to surround, the detachment, which retreated, fighting tut they went. Messengara were despatched to the main body of Major Forbcti' troop for assistance. Some Matnbclo also attacked Major Forbes' men but were repulsed. Dr Jameson and Captnin WillTufchby aro moving up to reinforce VI ojor Forbes.
