A miner named Arnold was brought to the Auckland District Hospital from Kuaotuna suffering from terrible burns. He died from his injuries shortly after admission. It seems the man fell into a fire in his whare near Kuaotuna. Mr W. J. Napier's friends intend to present him with a testimonial -for the fight he made in the Liberal cause at the general election.
