Retirement of Dr Lemon.

(PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, December 18. Iv Cabinet to-day, it was decided to agree to Dr Lemon's retiring from the -Buperintendency of the Telegraph Departmeat at his own request on a pension. He is oyer age, has fully earned hia pension, and he wishes to spend the evening of his life upon his farm in the Manawatu. It is probable Mr W. Gray, Under-Sec-retary of the Postal Department will be appointed Superintendent of Telegraphs conjointly w:th his present office.
