[Per Press Association] Rome, December 12. A Customs oflicer stationed at Sari, on the Italian frontier, prevented the residents from using fireworks during a religious festival. The mob became enraged, and a terrible scene ensued. Seizing the unfortunate man, they drenched him with petrolenm and then burnt him to death.
