Egtnont Farmers' Union stock report — Stock was rather easier at Okaiawa on the 80th ult. We quote :— Three-year forward bullocks, L 5 to Ls los ; 18-month to 2 -year steers, L 3 to L 3 9s ; weaners, LI 12s to L 2 11s-; fat and forward cows, L 4 to L 4 6s ; cows and calves and cows in calf, L 3 7s to L4 los. Sheep— Mixed, 4s 7d. The clearing sale which was held at Manutabi on Friday, the Ist iust., on behalf of Messrs Hendy and Pease, turned out a really excellent one. We quote :— Eighteen-months to 2 year steers, L 8 4s to L 4 5s ; yearling steers, L 2 18s 6d ; fat and forward cows, L 4 7s 6d to L 4 8s 6d ; cowb and heifers in calf, L 3 6d to L 4 12s 6d ; cows and calves, L 4 18s to L 5 6s 6d ; yearlings, L 2 11s. Sheep— Shorn ewes and lambs, 9s ; shorn hoggets, 9s 2d. We held our sale at Manaia on Wednesday the 6th instant We quote:— Two and a half to 3-year bullocks, L 4 15s to L 4 17s 6d ; 18>month to 2 -year steers, L 3 9s to L 3 19s 6d ; yearlings, L 2 6s to L 3 ; cows and calves, L 4 3s to L 5 15s ; cows in calf, L 3 15a to L 6 7s 6d ; fat and forward cows, L 3 18s to L4 l4s
