FATAL ACCIDENT IN A MINE.
(FEB FBESS ASSOCIATION). Adelaide, December 7. Rad feeling between the-Attorney-General and Mr Symons, Q.C., was shown in the Supremo * ourt to-day. The Crown Solicitor, acting under instructions from the Attorney-General, objected to Mr Symons appearing with lum for the prosecution in a sheep-stealing case, although Mr Symons was acting on behalf of the owner of the sheep. The Judge held that Mr Symons had a por> feet right to appear in the case. This Day. A nugget weighing 86 ounces has been picked up by three of tne unemployed at Wedderburn.
Sydney, This Day. Six men were seriously injured in the Proprietary Mine at Broken Hill through a cage breaking from their control and descending the shaft with frightful rapidity.
