(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). London, December 3. Up to date, fifty-one thousand two hundred balos of wool hare befn catalogued and forty-seven thousand six hun» drcd sold. Competition is brisk, and the market very firm. The New Zealand Land Association (Limited) has received the following cablegram dated London, 2nd instant :— The wool sales progress firmly. Scoured merino, super and greasy merino, medium an inferior, are par to £d per Ib lower. Other descriptions are unchanged. There ia no American demand. The total quantity catalogued to date ; .s 30,000 bales. Tallow— There is less demand for finer qualities, but there is an improved demand for other descriptions. Quotations are unchanged since last telegram. The butter market is easier ; there is a good demand. Pine qualities are worth 110s to 120s per cwt. Frozen Meat— The mutton market is dull, Canterbury mutton is worth 4|d, and Wellington mutton 3fd per lb, Prime New Zealand lambs are worth, per carcase, 4§d per lb.
