The woman Knorr was found guilty of child murder, but sentence was deferred, pending an application by her counsel in chambers. The Judge summed up strongly against the prisoner. A painful scene occurred when the verdict was announced. Tiie prisoner turned to the gallery, where Thomson was sitting, and said : " God help jour sins, Ted ; and God help my mother and baby." The bearing of further charges apainst Knorr and her husband has been postponed. Sydney, This Day.
