Messrs Lowea and lorns held their regular fortnightly Bale of Btock last Wednesday at their Mastertoa yards. The entries were small and showed a decline in prices upon previous rates. Cattle— Dairy cows, 65s to J£6 ; store cows, 70s to 72s 6d ; 2 year steers, 02s 6d. A polled Angus bull aged found a pur« chaser at £12. Pigs— The demand for pigs was not so active.
