NOVEMBER WEATHER, 1893. TO THE EDITOII OF THE STAII. Sib, — The total rainfal for the past month was 158 inches, as against 2- 19 inches in November, 1892. Rain fell on 15 days during the month, the heaviest falls being o*3B inches on the llth, 0*32 on tbe 16th, and 025 on the 3rd. The mean temperature during the month, taken at 9.30 a.m., was 61*66 degrees. The maximum temperature was 84 degrees on the 23rd, and the minimum 36 degrees during the night of the 26th. Tbe season is a remarkably early one, Xmas lilies and other flowers having bloomed quite a month, if not more, earlier than usual. I am, etc., Saml. Goodbeiiere. Feilding, Ist December, 1893.
