Tattersall's Big Prize
[Per s.B. Manapouri at the Bluff] Melbourne, November 20. The first prize in Tattersall's big sweep on the Melbourne Cup was won by L. Fitzgerald, a shearer, of Charles Hill, Queensland. There were seven other shearers in the syndicate. Fitzgerald and Michael Fallow each draw £6000, and the other men small amounts, they having laid off to the two former.
