Messrs Abraham & Williams report: —A large entry of horses came forward on Saturday. Useful draughts and hacks were in steady demand uutil the end of the day, when prices declined considerably and but a small amount of business was transacted. More than tho average proportion changed hands. Best draughts, subject to trial, made Ll9 to L 27 10s ; medium sorts, Ll2 to Ll6 10s ; ordinary hacks, L6to L 9; indifferent and aged, L 2 10s to L 4; light unbroken colts, L 3 to L 6.
