Underwood pleaded guilty to two charges of forgery ; sentenco was. deferred. W. Storey pleaded guilly to forgery nnd was sentenced to two years. J. F. Recce ploiidcd guiltj to three charges of forgery and was sentenced to six months. He is \ at present undergoing imprisonment in Wellington for the samo offence Kidd, a lad, pleaded guilty to forgery and breaking and eutonng. and was- sentenced to 12 months. Thos Downey was sentenced to three years for forgory. Joseph Gear* [ noy pleaded guilty to criminal assault, and was remanded for sentenco. John Bickertoo, charged with intent, was found l to bo insane and ordored to be kept iv I custody until the Colonial Secretary wishes . it to be known. Samuel Nortboy, for I breaking and entering, was sentenced to 18 months.
