Sad Drowning Accident
♦ . (PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Marton, This Day. Two men named James Lomas and James Grey were drowned in tho Tupua ford, uear Ohingaiti, yesterday afternoon, while crossing the Rangitikei river. Lomas, single, aged 45, had crossed, and seeing Grey, also single, aged 30, had disappeared, he returned to rescue his mate, but immediately sunk with his horse in a whirlpool. Lomas' body has been recovered but Grey's has hot yet been found.
