Wellington A- & P. Association

(per press association). Wellington, November 16. The rain which fell all the forenoon very seriously affected attendance at the fifth annual show of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association, and at no time were more than 3000 present. The usual contests arranged for people's day passed off very tamely, with the exception or the leaping match, and in" this event there was some really first-class jumping. Timothy, last year's winner, was aga.in victorious, and his owner, Mr Williams, of Wairarapa, becomes the possessor of the Challenge Cup, value 20 guineas, having won the trophy twice in succession.
