Egmont Farmers' Union (Limited) report — We had a successful sale at Stratford on Friday, the 27th ult. We quote — 18 months to 2 jear steers, £8 4s to £1 4s 6d ; yearlings, £1 18s to £2 16s ; cows and heifers in calf, £3 7s 6d to £4 10s ; springers, £5 17s 6d. The second sale in our new horse bazaar took place on Saturday, the 28tb ult. We quote — Draughts, LB los to Ll7 ; harness horses, Lll to Llslos, hacks up to Ll6 los. Our Okaiawa sale was held on Monday, the 30th ult., in place of. Thursday, the 21st inst., which was the date of the Egmont A. and P. Show. We quote— | Fat bullocks, L 6 ss ; 18 months to 2 year steers, L 3 11s to L 4 9s ; cows and heifers in calf, L 8 16s to L 7; fat cowa, L 4 9s ; ewes and lambs, 7s to 9s 4d. We held our usual fortnightly sale in the Glover Eoad yards, on Wednesday, the Ist inst. We quote-fat bullock, L 6 10s to L 7; 12 to 18 months mixed, L 2 4s to L 2 16g ; fat cows and heifers, L4 los to L4 l6s 6d j cows and heifers in calf, L 8 9s toLS; sheep, 2 tooth wethers, 9s 8d; 2 tooth wethers, 9s 8d ; 2 tooth ewes, 8s to 9s 8d ; fot sheep, 12s 9d.
