(PEE PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, November 7. The syndicate of 47 telographists, who drew Jeweller in Tattersell's £100,000 sweep, expect to get about £50 each as the sweep was only half filled. The Appeal Court to-day granted leave to appeal to tho Privy Council in the Sydenham licensing cases and refused to make an order for quashing tho licenses in the meantime, leaving the question open whether they are valid or not, and whether the bouses in question can sell liquor. .
