(PKB PBE99 ASSOCIATION.) Capetown, October 28. Reports have reached here that Major Adams shot two of King Lobengula's envoys at Tifi, being unaware that they were envoys. Major Adams reports that the men were arrested on suspicion cf being spies. They attempted to escape, hence they were shot. Sir Henry .Loch proposes to inquire into this among other matters. The news of the men being shot will, it is behoved, hare an unpleasant effect in England. Major Grey has left Mafeking for Tati witli 300 Imperial troops. Sir Frederick Carrington will command the Bccbuanaland police. Natal newspapers join with those here in condemning the action of the Marquis of Ripon, and they state that the current belief is the British Government desire to como (o some arrangement with King Lobengula before he is defeated. Sir Frederick Carrington, formerly commnndant of the native forces in Zululand, will shortly leave England for Mashonaland to confer with Sir Henry Loch. Sir Frederick goes out at the hitter's request. Octolor 29. The column under the command of Major Adams has arrived within eighty milfs of Bulawayo (Lobenijula's kraal) without opposi'ion. If is reported that enquirios investigated by Sir Henry Loeli show that Lobengula's enroys were stabbed by British guards.
