Times that the rumour that be has definitely decided not to enter the lists again for Wtinganui is not altogether correct. The position is that he has not yet made up his mind one way or the other TPer Press Association.! Auckland, October 27. Mr Massey addressed his first meeting of the electors of Franklin at Wainku. He received a vote of confidence. He is independent. Mr R. Thompson addressed his first meeting of Marsden electors. He declared himself generally a supporter of the Government, but would not be o delegate or blindly follow any party. He received a vote of confidence. Mr Mitchelson continued his impeachment of the Government policy last night, addressing the largest meeting ever held in Northcote. On the motion of a woman, seconded by a woman, a vote of confidence was carried, with only one dissentient. Waipawa, This Day. At a meeting of the Liberal party, Sir Patrick Buckley being present, it was decided to put forward C. \V. Reardon as a candidate in the Government interest for Hawke'a Bay.
