♦ Mr Matthew Henry reports : — The supplies forward on Wednesday, at Palmerston, were rather under the average and although of good serviceable quihtv the demand was far from active, resulting in many lots remaining unsold. The following are quotations :— Yearling steers to L 2 10s ; heifers L 2 to L 2 8s ; cows L 4 to L 6 Is.
