Bushfelling is going on in all directions and the face of the country is rapidly changing. A lot of bush land is being cleared in the Mangowera Oroua Block. Mr Fisher, a son of Mr George Fisher, M.H.R., of Wellington, has a section there and is getting down a hundred acres of the forest. The dance held in Mr McKeocie's woolshed on Thursday night, after the polling for the loan, was well attended, and an enjoyable evening wan spent.
