m — BRILLIANT RECEPTION OF THE FLEET AT TOULON. (I'EU PHESS ASSOCIATION.) *„ Pabis, October 11. There is great enthusiasm at Toulou over the Russian fleet. Six vessels arrived today. The Mayor baa forbidden cries hostile to other nations. October 15. The Russian warships were received with unexampled enthusiasm on thenarrival at Toulon. One hundred thousand flags and miles of scarlet were displayed, and a succession of fetes held. The officers were almost mobbed by the crowd in their enthusiasm. At a banquet given in honour of the visit, Admiral Rieanier, Minister oi Marine, said that the Czar's name ia the eyes of the world was a symbol of peace, and he hoped that the fraternity in arms between the two nations would ever exist. The Admiral of the Russian fleet received a deputation at nearly every town he visited.
