The junior representative match between the Bush Union and Manawatu teams took place at Palmerston on Saturday, and resulted in a victory for Manawatu by 21 points to nil. Tries were scored by Rookley (3), Isherwood (2), and Rickards (2), and Hewitt potted a goal. The place kicking was a failure, only one goal being converted out of seven attempts. (PS* PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, Octobers. At a meeting of delegates of the New Zealand Bugby Union, the proposal for federation of Rugby Unions of Australasia was unanimously adopted, and the annual meeting will be asked to confirm it. The Secretary ot the N.Z. Union leaves for Sydney next week to consult Australian Unions.
