[fbom ova, own coBBESPONDENT.] Mr Banks, of Halcombe, is at present '. erecting a carpeuters and cabinet-maker's shop close to Mr G. Anyon's premises, Birmingham. Mr MoNair, in order to meet increased business requirements, is having his I boarding house at Birmingham enlarged I and generally improved. < I understand a public meeting of i residents of Birmingham will be held at > an early date to consider the question of 3 roads and other matters of public interest. ' A daughter of Mr Carter, who had been < suffering for some time, died on Monday last and was buried in the Birmingham cemetery on Wednesday, when a large number of sympathising friends were , present. Mr Geo Anyou conducted the j service at the grave. ' Mr Taylor's little child, who was burned , to doath, was buried on Thursday in the I Birmingham cemetery. The Druids Lodge { was represented at the grave by Bros J. \ R. lliohardson and D. Moßeth. Bro Q. Anyon tendered the most heartfelt sympathy of the brotherhood to Bro B. fl Taj lor and his wife, and urged upon t thorn to put thoir trust in God in the hour a of their affliction.
