Supposed Poisonous Lollies.
I (PEB TBESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland. September 29, A boy named Natale Caraman, admitted to the hospital from Onehunga for treatment for irritant poisoning, lies at tbe institution unconscious and in a critical condition. Tbe caso has received every attention at the hospital, but, strange to say, the doctors are unable to ascertain from what poison the lad is sufferiug. The Onebunga polico state the result of : enquiries made by tbem to be to the effect that tho boy had eaten some highly. < coloured lollies. Caraman was playing about the streets with bis companions when he took suddenly ill. Alter ex- , animation by Dr. Scott, wbo considered tbe case one of irritant poisoning, tbe boy was sent to the hospital ;
