The tenth arrest made in connection with the robbery at Mount Morgan Mines was effected yesterday. A watchman at the smelting works and others are believed to be implicated. The wife of one of the prisoners has gone mud. Perth, September 28. A party of natives at Wyndham were discovered by the police feasting on stolen cattle. The police surrounded the natives, who offered a desperate resistance, but were overmatched and twenty-three were shot. A number of others were taken into custody. Constable Collins was speared to death. A punitive expedition has been despatched to the scene of the trouble. Adelaide. September 27. The wool sales opened yesterday.
