A CORRECTION.

TO TIIE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir, — I notice in your issue of last night a local to the effect that the Assembly Rooms were engaged for this evening, and could not be obtained for the meeting of the W.CT.U. lam unaware whence you obtained the informa* tion, for had I been applied to for the use of the Hall, I should have only been too happy to have let it, as it is always open for engagement on Wednesday nights. I am, etc, R, F. Haybittle. September 27th.
