Feilding Stipendiary Court
THIS DAY. (Before H. Eyre-Kenny Esq., S.M.) A. K. Blundell charged W. 17. Mcßeth with offering sheep infected with lice, for sale in the Farmers' Alliance yards at Feilding on the 14th July last. A fine of 20s was inflicted with 7s costs of Court. Constable Tuohy charged J. 11. Peacock with furious riding on the Kimbolton road on the 19th inst. Mr Prior appeared for the defendant who pleaded guilty. His Worship inflicted a fine of 10s, with 7s costs of Court. Joseph Smith v. P. Dowdell ; claim £5 6s. Adjourned till the sth October. ' Joseph Smith v. Win. McCaul ; claim £1 17s 6d for rent of a cottage. Mr Prior for the plaintiff. There was no appearance of the defendant, against whom judgment was given, with 6s costs of Court. R, Somerville v. W. Managh ; claim £6, amount due on a promissory note. Mr Prior tor the plaintiff. Judgment for the amount claimed, £6, with 10s costs of Court and solicitor's fee, 21s. Elizabeth Thompson v. J. F. Kells ; claim £9 18s 2d on a dishonored promissory note. Mr Prior for the plaintiff. Judgment for the plaintiff for £9 ISs 2d, with 10s costs of Court, and 21s solici tor's fee. Peter Thomson v. Charles Gutlme; claim £9 0a 4d, for which amount an order had previously been made and execution issued. Mr Prior, on behalf of the plaintiff, applied that the sum of £4 9s, in the hands of the Court, in tho CBse of Guthrio v. Valentine, might be paid out in part satisfaction of the claim Thomson v. Gutbric. His Worship made the order as prayed for. This was all the business, and the Court adjourned till the sth October next.
