SHOCKING SCENES. RIO BELIEVED to he CAPTURED. (PEE PHEBB ASSOCIATION). Rio Janieko, September 20. Shocking scenes were witnessed at tho bombardment of the city. Shops were looted, and women outraged by gangs of roughs. The streets were strewn with mangled corpses. The foreign warships consented to allow the rebels to bring food from the inerohant vessels in the hardour. It is reported that tho womenfolk belonging to the naval officers who re* volted were subjected by the Govornment to (he indignity of being whipped. Washington, September 20. Two Brazilian warships in Toulon declared for the rebels beforo they were relieved by loyal orews, It is belieyed that all .Rio has been captured. ______________
