+ (PEE 1 1 BKSS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland. September 10. A correspondent from Norfolk Island, under date September 9th, says the first loral case of murder occurred a fortnight ago. A single girl named Grena Christian gave birth to a female child. The same night she carried it 200 yards and throw it down an empty well, breaking its back, arms -and head. At the inquest n verdict was returned that the child was killed by being thrown down a well. It is presumed that the authorities, as there is now law in the island to deal with the matter, will refer it to the Governor of New South Wales, who is Governor of the Island.
