The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report under date London, September 9 : — Frozen Meats. -The mutton market is dull, and the pi ice of mutton has declined £d per lb since last report. Canterbury mutton is worth 3gd per lb, and Wellington 3d per lb. Beef. — Hind-quarters are worth ssd per lb, and fore- quarters 3|d per lb. Lamb. — The market is depressed, and the price has declined £d per lb since last report. Prime N.Z. iambs are worth jjpr carcase 3£d per lb. Tallow. — There is a better demand for mutton tallow, but other descriptions are unchanged. Fine mutton tallow is worth 28s Gd por cwt, and good beef 27s 3d per cwt. Hemp. — The market is inactive. Medium is worth £19 os per ton.
