Mr Mathew Henry reports: — A very fair entry of cattle came forward to the Miinnwatu Live Stock Auction Market, but sheep were in small muster. Quotations : Fat bullocks, L 8 ; fat cows, L 5 1O« to L 6 17s 6d ; small 2-year steers. L 3 15s; yearlings, L 2 15s ; weaners, L 2 9a ; dairy cows, L 6 10s to L 7; hog" gets, 10s. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Wanganui Stock Report.— Cattle— At Waverley : Cows, L 3 10s to L 4 10s ; 2 year steers, L 3 to L 3 10s ; yearlings, L 2 2s. At Wanganui: Forward bullocks, L 5 Us; steers, L 3 15s to L 4 12s 6d ; weaners, 37s ; heifers, L 4. Sheep— At Warerley : Fat wethers, 16s 3d; store 3, 9a 9d ; hogg«ts, 8s lOd to 9s 6d. At Wanjjanui : Fat wethers, 15s 6d to 19s ; ewes and wettiers, 14s 4d ; store wethers, 12s Id. Pigs— Porkers, 20s to 255; sows, 34s to 50s ; smaller pigs. 13s to 18s. Poultby— Ducks, 5s ; fowls, 2s 6d to 4s.
