Marian Willis' Dramatic Company
-♦ The sensational American drama 11 Ertna," was given by the Marian Willis' Dramatic Company yesterday evening. The actiuß of Miss Marian Willis in the title role, and also as the Princess ]Sa-No«Ne was the life and soul of the piny, and she sang two or three songs excellently. Mr W. .T. Coulter as Mr Bluffkins was good and lie scored a decided success. Mr J. F. Keogh was very funny iv tho character of Signor Basanio. Mr T. W. Lyons as Kobert Knikes. the most villainous of villains, played the part admirably. In the last ar£ the fire scene was capitally put on, and worked in a very realistic manner. Th«? audiewee was not largo, but made up for its paucity of numbers by the manner in which an unstinted measure of applause was frequently bestowed on the performers. The Company appear again to-night, when Fergus Hume's great Australian drama, entitled " Ma dame Midas, 1 ' will be produced.
