MINERS TO RESUME WORK. (PER PBESS ASSOCIATION). London, September 4. Thirty thousand miners in South Wales have abnndoned the sliding scale of pay, and decided to join the Miners' Federation of Great Britain. A taaps meeting of miners at Pontypridd, Glamorganshire, have decided to resume work on Tuesday. Owing to the strike, t«n thousand women and children in the Midlands are being fed daily by charitable bodies. SyiwjvV, This Day.
