Canipbelltown Items.

[VKOM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Owing to the prevalanceof measles, the school-house is being closed for a fortnight. Some bad cases are reported. Mr G . Hansen has had a very severe attack, but is now in a very fair way to recovery. It is expected the opening of Mr Corpe's factory here will cause a great stir among the dairyistß, as a great many are going to supply the factory with milk. Many cases are reported here of young lambs loosing their tails, and it is much questioned whether the stoats or weasles (which you like) are at work.
